The gold rush of B2B e.Commerce will primarily benefit shovel providers - Part two

I concluded Part One of this series of articles with the statement that B2B e.Commerce is a golden opportunity, not so much for the B2B companies as for the service providers with an offering that can be integrated in the trade flows between corporate sellers and corporate buyers.


The transition towards B2B e.Commerce is however still in its infancy and given the extra complexity of B2B commerce, many facilitating services are still lacking. As a result, the winning service providers might not be the same that have been successful in B2C e.Commerce. In this sense, it is a new gold rush.


I will now focus on existing and potential service providers which have the best pre-requisites to be successful, starting with banks, FinTechs and LegalTechs.
